  1. Morning Guys cheers for the previous help, my Swing radio has now decided to switch on randomly, it was on at 5.30 this morning when I came out to it, weird. What is my best course of action. Reset ? Upgrade ? or just replace. Is an upgrade easy as in wiring connectors etc Also it has been changing from am to fm randomly too. Any help is much appreciated
  2. Hi thanks again Steve for your advice. I'm going to give it a try swapping locks. I've been quoted £100-150 to get a fob to work the locking so that's still a possibility. I think the passenger lock is stiffening slightly so may have to do both. Cheers again.
  3. After you swapped the locks did the key still work the central locking and open all doors or just the drivers door. Ta
  4. Cheers Steve, never thought of that
  5. After a bit of help please ! Recently bought an Octavia S 2009. It has 2 keys but no remote locking fob. I understand that it may have been an option on this particular model. The issue I now have is the lock on the drivers door just spins and I have to open the passenger side door and lean in and press the unlock/lock button in the centre console. I have read that the locks are prone to faults and I was wondering instead of changing lock can I somehow upgrade the system to work remotely from a new fob. Would this be something that can be done easily, do I need a Lock expert or main dealer visit. If this can be done after market wise, what type of fob is best to buy or am I best getting an expert to sort it ? Any help would be much appreciated thankyou
