Neither had I, until I did this. Grabbed my mother's hair dryer, my dad's extension cord, and used a sharp Stanley knife and took my time with it. Always worth a shot and you might learn a few things on the way.

I mostly wrapped them with some 'Chrome delete' wrap off amazon. Used it on the front upper amd lower grill as well as the side window trims. For the side rear window trims, I used a large gloss black vinyl wrap as the corner was really tricky to wrap in one piece with the curve. As for the roof rails, I swapped them for some cheap gloss black OEM ones I found online. All in all, this really helped elevate the looks of the car

Ahh what i wouldnt give to have my insurance under £500. I suppose insurance don't like 20 year old with 2.0L, especially from the west Midlands. Just a waiting game now to build up some NCD

h.l.n.t.r.e.t has a really nice example, but wayyy out of budget😂😂. Few interesting things about his car is the black handles and black roof leading into a black spoiler. Something to consider

Just had a look in the picture thread, and there are some really nice builds in there, yours included. Definetly considering a sportline rear spoiler with a Maxton spoiler extender as well and maybe some black fog light surrounds.

Might have to look at mudflaps as this car really likes to accumulate dirt behind the rear wheels. VCDS is definetly an interesting shout, I need to do my research on what it's capable of and what I want out of it yet.

Yeah, I've changed the skoda emblem to black and white, as well as the rear lettering to gloss black. Figured I wouldn't tell insurance about the minor stick-on stuff like the emblems and lettering, but rather the bigger stuff like alloys since my insurance is already just under 3k😅

Hey all, I currently own a Superb 150 SE L and have started to add my personal touch to the car. Having dechromed the front the grill, side window trims and roof rails, I was looking for possible suggestions as to what to do the car. I was possibly considering 'upbadging' the car and making it look like a sportline, with the vega wheels etc, but I am open to ideas. P.s. A matte black front radar sensor is on its way
