A few questions before purchasing
All good. The one on their website isn't ours but the one on the official Skoda website is. I sent them the reservation confirmation email to proff I reserved it first and the manager agreed its fair so the car is ours 🎉

A few questions before purchasing
The dealership just emailed us to say that the car has sold to someone else even though I reserved it on the official Skoda website! They said it didn't show on their system and they will have to look into it! (then explain this). 😤 Maybe its for the best since I don't like the idea of buying a car blind but I if I want a sunroof then this is pretty much the only option 😕

Yogi-Bear thanks (again) for the detailed comment 👌 I'm not doing part exchange so collecting the car means I'll have to take the train and bus.

A few questions before purchasing
I'm about to close the deal on a SEL Exec 1.5 tsi 2023 model and it has done 18k mil. but before I do that I hope you could help me with some questions 1. The car is coming fitted with sunroof. Looking around here I found loads of reports about water leak. Is this also the case for the 23 models? Should I avoid it? 2. The car is from a Skoda dealership which is about 3hrs away from me so the car will have to be delivered. They sent me a video and all look good but I didn't set or test driven this one. There is a 14 days no questions ask return but I'll have to pay for the delivery back. Anything I should be particularly worried about? FYI, we already test drive a another car of same model. 3. Any non obvious thing specific to the Kodiaq I should consider/ask the dealership about? Thanks

Struggling to settle on a used kodiaq
Awesome comment. Thanks. The fact the memory seat function also controls the mirrors makes me wants it even more! As for the large alloys, I wonder if it will be possible to replace them with stock ones for free since they must be worth something...🤔

Struggling to settle on a used kodiaq
I'm looking for a used Kodiaq 7 seater, 2021 onwards, 1.5l petrol with an automatic gearbox and a budget of ~£25k. The idea Is to have this car as our main family car and keep it for about 8-10 years But I'm struggling to settle on one. Things I think we must have: Low millage - no more than 25k Cruise control - after getting used to it with my current car, I can't see myself without this feature seat position profile - My wife and I are going to share this car daily so this one seems like it's a must. Front/Back parking sensors - for £25k, it better have parking sensors! LED front light - same reason and above Electric boot - same reason and above The main issue here is the seat position profile. It's limiting our options and driving the price up by quite a bit. But having to change the seat manually, daily seems like a pain! I'd love to know what you think of this feature, especially if you are in a similar situation as me (sharing the car with another driver frequently). Other things I'd like to know: Does the sunroof affect cabin noise when shut? - One of the cars I shortlisted comes with a sunroof How noticeable is the negative effect of large alloys? - Many used Kodiaq come with 19" alloys and I'd like to know how they compare with the standard option Any over/under-rated features/options? Thanks!
