  1. Hi, I am about to replace a friends front suspension arms on his 2018 Kodiaq 1.5 4x4. The right hand one looks simple, the left hand one, there is an issue by which you can't get the front bolt out because it hits the back of the gearbox. I have seen two ways to deal with this - one is to remove the engine mount and jack the engine up, the other is to drop the sub-frame slightly by loosening the sub frame bolts. I don't know which would be better, but loosening the sub-frame bolts seems like it would be simpler for me to do under the car. I was wondering if anyone had a diagram of the sub-frame, and the torque settings for when I do the bolts back up again? Thanks.
