Yeah it's an MOT failure if it doesn't lock so will have to get it fixed by then

When I turn the key it does not engage the lock, it used to turn without opening now that does happen. I have tried spraying silicone spray down the lock but no good

I want to take it out and look at it to see if I can repair it.

The lock on the fuel cap is no longer loving, I have found a replacement online but it says to swap the lock from the old one. Is it easy to remove the lock I can't see how it comes apart. Could the community help
