I’ve never had a car that has had two possible brake fitments like that before. Even Saab with their known little anachronisms make brake part selection simple. Suppliers/Skoda should at least be able to make it so that looking the car up by reg number (which I did on several sites) will bring up the correct sized discs and pads. No need to be unnecessarily complicated.

This is exactly what happened!!! Am exchanging the pads for the correct ones tomorrow 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 I have the correct 7mm bit, it’s the same size as for one of my Saabs so at least that went my way 😎

Hi all, am new here. I am a Saabaholic but my wife has a 2021 Kamiq Monte Carlo. I am about to change the front brake pads and just wondered if there is anything I need to look out for? Also, does anyone know the torque specs for the caliper? Any special tools required? Grateful for any help or pointers.
