When was this replaced. Have you had any issues since?

Thanks for the quick response. I didn’t own the car when the transmission was replaced but I assume it was new given that it was replaced by Skoda dealership. I have it booked in with a VAG specialist for both a service and gearbox service so hopefully they can shed some light on it.

It is 7 speed, I believe the DQ381. I take it that having had the transmission replaced at 25k by Skoda I wouldn't have been expected to have it serviced at 80k?

2017 2.0 DSG Superb MK3 - 87000 miles Looking advice on an issue I’m having. Second time in the past month the message ‘Gearbox in emergency mode - no reverse gear’ has appeared. All even gears stop working when I continue to drive with the message displayed. Once I pull the car over, switch it off and back on again everything working fine. Both times I have been driving for 60mins + in really heavy traffic so constantly stop/starting. Would this just be a sensor issue? Bought the car a few years back with 50k on the clock. Looking back through the service history it had the transmission replaced at 25k so concerned it could something similar. Also displaying ‘Oil change service and inspection due in 6 days’ so have it booked in with the garage.
