  1. Ok lovely, thanks so much 😊
  2. Hi there, I have a 2010 MK2 Octavia and I I wanted to check the Aircon fuse in the engine bay. Do you know which one it would be if there is one? I've checked the dash ones already. Many thanks πŸ‘
  3. Great, thanks I'll take a look there too πŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. Thanks, I've checked both fuses in the dash....none in the engine bay is there? Appreciate your feedback ☺️
  5. Thanks guys, appreciate that, I think I'll book it in for them to inspect it and maybe regas if needed. Thanks for your help!
  6. Hi everyone, man it's hot and my Aircon isn't working πŸ˜… I've just plugged it in to vcds and I have the following pictures of the readouts. Clutch seems to be engaging and spinning, would it be a simple regas or do these codes suggest something else to you? Appreciate your thoughts!
  7. Many thanks Alasdair, appreciate your feedback ☺️
  8. Hi all, As a bit of background I had an injector go on my 1.6tdi Octavia 2 2010. Was replaced but since then had engine knock that was getting worse. Using a Ross-Tech scanner I just adapted the flow of all the injectors and seems to be running much better but still slightly rough. I also did an autoscan and got the following codes....any ideas what each one could actually be? Or are they connected in some way? I cleared the but both the auto trans and HVAC one came back. The Aircon isn't actually working.....but I'm more concerned about the auto trans code. Many thanks!
  9. Ah thanks guys, that's all really helpful. Good video too πŸ‘ I've spoken to someone who has dealt with this before and he's going to adjust the injectors deviation quantities with vcds....so here's hoping!!πŸ˜…
  10. Thanks for the replies, The mechanic seems to think the fast knocking/tapping noise is because the oil is too thin, and a thicker oil would help. Although it's always been serviced at Skoda. The car was running perfectly beforehand, then injector just went kne day out the blue. The new noise also only happened once the Injector was replaced. The odds of it being something to do with the oil when the noise wasn't there before I'd imagine is quite low. He doesn't have vcds, just a generic system, and according to this video, sometimes you have to reset the minimum deviation quantities? Especially on a reconditioned injector. I'm not sure about the pinking noise, I can only describe it as rough running at idle and the fast tapping when accelerating.... This is the video, that explains it but I'm not sure if anyone else has had this? Thanks guys
  11. Hi all, This is my first post, so I'm hope I'm in the right place ☺️ Recently bought a 2010 1.6tdi CR and last week broke down and got towed home due to injector number 4 going. Had the injector now replaced, but now the engine doesn't sound right when cold for like the first 15 mins or so. Lumpy when revving and then fast tapping noise when accelerating in gear. Like I say, it settles down after a bit. Mechanic said he coded the new injector, replaced the copper seal, but something is definitely not quite right. Any ideas? Many thanks πŸ‘
