  1. i assume you were asking me, in which case no thanks i dont like the brodit positions. i want one at the side of my radio
  2. i'm sure you've seen them but just for fun: Dailymotion - Skoda Fabia Vrs vs Mini Cooper (5thgear) - une vidéo Auto et Moto YouTube - Mini Copper Vs Skoda Fabia Vrs
  3. only the SE's were fitted with them as standard. I believe there was an optional extra through skoda for leathers at £1000 IIRC which is why you don't see that many of them around, most of the ones you will find with leathers will be seat surgeons i would imagine
  4. no worries. i've added the part numbers etc now. yeah it replaces one of the thin panels. unfortunately there isn't anyway of mounting one either side of the radio! you can retro fit cruise control but thats approx £200-250 depending on dealer. some may have had it factory fitted as an optional extra? mine was 1yr old when i got it from a dealership with 8,500miles on the clock and leather seats very similar to the vrs SE seats and it cost me £10,000. not too sure on the current prices of them but it'll give you a rough idea.
  5. welcome to the forum 1. known faults will be documented on here somewhere, although i've never had any issues with mine and its almost 4 years old now. 2. they have a cup holder between the front seats just behind the handbrake. you can get a dash cup holder from dealers/scrap yard etc that installs to the left of the radio (rhd models) or i believe you can get one that replaces the ashtray underneath the radio (infront of the gearstick) dash cupholder - 6Y0862531 47H(onyx RHD approx £35 from dealer) get some radio removal keys (T30005) if you buy the dash cupholder. the ashtray replacement cupholder - 6Y086326747H (about £5 from dealer) might struggle to fit a drive-through drink or a bottle in there due to the proximity to the underside of the heater controls! 3. if i remember correctly - red callipers instead of green, blue paint, leather seats, 6 cd-auto changer, tinted glass, and it had cruise control. limited to 1000 though so may be difficult to get hold of one of these the vRS is a great car - you'll love it
  6. wavey i believe that you can change the actual holder part in was more the initial mount i was looking for. thanks mike, think'll just go for the dashmount kit as i'm guessing they don't make the "holders" for newer phones and it doesn't look like the brodit holder will fit on that mount!
  7. this badboy! anybody know the part number?
  8. 6Y0857938 B41 is the part number (i think!)
  9. Does anybody know the part number for the skoda factory fit mobile phone holder mount that goes in the place of the cup holder, and if you can still get it at dealerships? I'm not overly keen on the mounting positions for the brodit kits. Thanks guys
  10. is it lowered? thought it was just running on 17" octy spiders
  11. wow! that octy is awesome any updated pictures yet andy?
  12. my old car did it - rover 25 (2000 reg) first time it did it i spent ages trying to turn the rear wipers off (whilst still in reverse! ) when my fabia had it i just figured all new cars had it.
  13. i'm a vrs owner and personally i wouldnt buy any of the new fabias i think they are hideous, and after i had the 1.4tdi sport whilst mine was serviced i also think the new diesels are really noisy, unless this has always been the case with the 1.4's
  14. lap-tab have 25% discount on alloy wheel refurbs / resprays if ordered in january Alloy Wheel Refurbishment - Refurb - Refurbishing - West Midlands
