  1. They are both 86bhp as well. I've decided to go for the 2014 one, having it delivered tomorrow. Thanks for your reply - it is good to hear you've had no issues once it has gone up into higher mileage.
  2. Hi, Ootohere thanks for replying. ( I love Minis by the way!) The 2014 has a timing chain, which has been replaced, and good to hear confirmation on here that the petrol versions are reliable.
  3. Hi, I'm about to join the Skoda club, and having driven a camper van for the last 8 years and having two tall teens to cart around I've got my heart set on a Roomster. I'm trying to decide between two 1.2 TSI SE's at the moment - one 2013 (9300 miles) and one 2014 (96722 miles). Both have a decent (not full) service history, will come with new clean MOTs, and the 2014 had its timing belt changed in 2021. I need a petrol version as I live on the edge of a Clean Air Zone. I know Skoda diesel engines go on and on, but what are people's experiences of the lifespan of petrol versions? Are there any major problems I'm likely to come up against soon?
