I have an an issue with the rear tailgate lock for a year or so where upon closing it makes a clicking sound for a few seconds but functions normally. Today it stopped functioning completely. This has happened previously many times and always been resolved by a reset of open/close parameters (opening to full height and holding the closed button for a number of seconds). Tailgate will lock if shut manually, but will not 'suck fully closed' as it does when closed with the remote or button. This leads me to think the lock is not working correctly as apposed to the struts, which were operating this morning fine, just stopping half way to closing which is what led me to attempting a reset on the open/close parameters. Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues previously? Mainly looking for advice as to replacement of the locking mechanism or the electric struts.
