Thanks for the reply. One cap is missing off the back and moisture inside the lamp. So I would expect there is likely water in the ballast. I found a replacement lamp on Ebay and bought another new ballast. So 3rd time lucky.

Since I bought the car 18 months ago the drivers side dipped beam keeps failing. Bulb is ok. I am on the 2nd headlamp and 2nd ballast. Anyone any ideas before I throw more money in the parts bin

Car wash ripped off the chrome trim surround from side window of boot. (Estate) Can you get replacement? Is it a mare to fit? Many thanks

2011 2.0 ltr diesel. Elegance. Bi Xenon headlamp, dipped beam on drivers isn't working. Changed bulb, no joy. I have bought a new replacement ballast. Does it need coding to car? Many thanks.

Thanks. Makes sense about drls. They don't appear to be working at all now. Can they been tirned on/off manually? Bit worried as lights appear to be an issue on this particular car.

I have just purchased a 2011 Superb elegance. 20ltr. Diesel 4x4 DSG The drivers side headlamp has packed up. I'm a bit confused as fog lamps were on permanently, now not on. It also says on start up about bendy lights not functioning. So question is, what headlamp bulb do I require? And any steer on fogs and bendy lights? Many thanks from a newbie.
