  1. Thank you for the advice. I will look at the state of the ribbon cable before buying a replacement clockspring. I can manage a soldering iron more or less 😉
  2. Hi guys, I have the airbag warning light, mfsw buttons don't work, neither does the horn. So I've decided to replace the clockspring myself. But I have a couple of doubts. How long should I leave the battery disconnected before touching the airbag? I'm finding a range of times on line for this. 45 minutes seems a bit over the top. What should I torque the steering wheel bold to? I've found suggestions for 30-35 Nm and also 50 Nm Is VEMO a good manufacturer for a clockspring? If anyone out there has done this job and has tips they would be most welcome. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
