  1. Ordered in April, told July for delivery... delayed until August, then September. Good news is, it arrived in the dealership this afternoon and I'm picking it up on Friday. Can't wait!
  2. No options, just specified the meteor grey vrs paint and red stitching. Through VW finance so should be available elsewhere too. It's the 2.0tdi.
  3. My vrs pch deal is £1800 deposit & £205pm for 24 months, 10k pa, no maintenance. Should be July delivery.
  4. Ordered last week and looking at early July, not yet confirmed.
  5. I've ordered the FL vrs in meteor grey with red stitching, 2.0tdi no extras added. I've taken it on PCH on a 9+23 10k deal for £205pm. Bloody bargain IMO. They're taking my car in trade in too which is a bonus.
  6. Hi! I used to be active around here back in 2004 when I owned my Fabia vrs, but drifted away when I sold it on. Anyhow, after a Smart roadster, Ford fiesta, Mazda 6, Honda civic hybrid, Hyundai i30, Ford focus, Peugeot 2008 and Citroen grand c4 picasso, I'm finally coming back to Skoda! I've ordered the facelift Octavia vrs, so a bit of a wait yet, but glad to be back in the forums rummaging around! Cheers, Richard
  7. Thanks for posting this, really useful. I've ordered the new vrs on a pch deal and the dealership couldn't tell me anything about the spec. Cheers!
  8. Also in the 'elusive' north-east. Odd how Yorkshire manages to be grouped with Wales
  9. Most recent at the top (replaced by the furby vrs of course!) Renault Megane Coupe Vauxhall Corsa SXi Citroen Xsara Vauxhall Nova Five cars in less than three years driving (new furby and new corsa, the others were used) - and lots of negative equity along the way Whats the latest on the 'league tables' then??
  10. Some rather interesting modded Skoda's here. See page 4 (linked) onwards for furbys, felicias, octys, rapids, 120's, etc, etc. Foreign webpage, but some decent pics.
  11. Well, donations for such a good cause and all that I ordered mine, and got them in around 3-4 days. Turned out one of them was wrong, so I 'donated' it. It took about a fortnight to get the proper ones redespatched after several emails :( Keep emailling them - they'll turn up eventually. They sent me several free ones as compo! Nice one Vinylstore!
  12. They're not brothers are they....???
  13. There's nothing 'Sadly' about it... I (and many others I'm sure) are with you 100% on this one! Is it me, or are 206 drivers the worst for crappy LED jets? Saddos all the same.
  14. lol... 'cos we'd have to wait even more weeks for orders!!
  15. I had a Corsa SXi with full Irmscher bodykit on around a year ago, debadged at the back, except for a lonely 'Irmscher' badge... I came back to a parking ticket that said: Make: Vauxhall Model: Irmscher Indeed mistakes are costly... to the council. I questioned the validity of the ticket and was indeed let off scot-free Contact the ticketing office first, see what they say - rather than just ignore it altogether methinks.
  16. There've been a hell of a lot of cameras disappearing in Northumberland too. A19 just before Newbiggen by the Sea, A69 just after Hexham A69 just before Haltwhistle to name the three I can remember seeing gone. The others I saw come down over the xmas period evade me... darned memory loss
  17. In the fog! Local plod I know says they're stopping people for them - and three points are on the cards.
  18. Some people claim black isn't common (or more common that the other three) - but just look at how many people have said black so far. Common it is I used to have a black corsa sxi (shame on me I know) - and black IS harder to look after than others - every fine tiny little scratch shows more obviously than any other colour, and dirt looks twice as bad. I notice nobody has been brave enough to post pics of their dirty black cars My last car was a megane coupe in silver, and silver hides the dirt really really well - it's not till you've washed half the car till you see the difference and realise how dirty it was without you even noticing! Yes, the matt black trims go better with black, but if you're *that* bothered, you can get the lot colour coordinated for circa
  19. I'm Newcastle too... and yes mine's red... but today it's filthy, so couldn't have been me
  20. Take a look out of the window at the next opportunity - how many cars do we see with blue stickers in the window? I'm sat watching the Tyne Bridge, lots of traffic, no blue stickers.
  21. I used to work in tech support for HP a few years back, and being a user of HP before working for them, I was already a fan. Reliable, relatively cost effective, and by far the best quality prints. I went on to work elsewhere, where they only used Epsons, and I had nothing but bother with them. Cheap crap across the range. Canon - coming along nicely - used to be poor quality too, but have come on in leaps and bounds recently, quickly catching up on HP printers. All IMHO of course (with a little 'in-industry' experience thrown in for flavour!)
  22. Hi Neil... I'm Ric, 25, IT Trainer, and also a gadget geek... Still got no idea why you'd want one of these?!?! What's up with the old Ctrl+Alt+Delete ??? Look tat IMHO.
  23. Spoken by a dedicated "Nuts" reader I presume
  24. Reaallllly sad, but I can watch it over and over... it's great!
