  1. Hi I have a 2016 Skoda Rapid with an MIB Entry head unit that I want to swap for a slightly older but better (and cheap) RNS 315. I have run the cables for the DAB antenna and the GPS antenna and bought an adapter for the quadlock as it's the older style connector on the RNS315 and the new style on my car. The RNS315 was working fine (so the very highly rated ebay seller tells me) before I installed it and the adapter is brand new from a half assed looking UK eBay seller. The new unit will not power up at all. I have tested the fuse on the back of the RNS and that's fine. The fuse in the car itself is also fine as it powers up the old MIB fine. Which leaves one of 3 faults. Either the head unit is faulty or the quadlock adapter or I'm an idiot. Without another old VAG car I can't check the head unit and I'm not good enough with a multi meter to check the adapter myself. If there is anything else anyone can think of I would really appreciate it. Thank you Dave
