Dealer has replied back to me, its not from a skoda dealership but the car will be getting updated to the new software before I pick the car up as part of the deal. They are sending it to the local dealership near them to have this done. This site prove very helpful getting the selling branch to agree to this. Below is the current software on the car.

Hi everyone first post here, Im looking to buy a used octavia mk4 a 21 plate se tech with 39k on the clock. I have not seen the car yet but after doing a bit of reading on the internet and came across the amount of people saying there are software glitches with the cars infotainment system when these cars came out. Are they still the same today even after updates from the dealers? The dealer has said its recently had software updates, wiring harness repair and aircon recharge as part of their preparation of the car for sale. I know every car has its problems just looking for some advice before making the journey to see the car.
