  1. Hello all. It's my first post and here goes. I own a 2020 Octavia Mk3 2.0 150bhp. About a year ago I noticed that I'd lost a bit of power when I pulled away from a junction and thought my foot had slipped off the accelerator, repositioned my foot and went on my way. It did it again a few days later and I knew my foot was on the accelerator and then it went into limp. I called my garage and they said turn it off and back on and take the car straight to them. The limp cleared and they looked at the fault codes, there was a few apparently, but the camshaft rotation sensor code was up, it was changed and I drove it for a couple of days and the limp came back. Turn the ignition off and on seemed to clear it. I booked it back into the garage but had to wait a week before dropping it off, it was going into limp every day at this point, you could tell it was going to do it as the car felt like it had a loss of power and it would jerk before going into limp. The garage had the car for a week, they sent it to a vag specialist and then to an auto electrician the verdict was they didn't know what was wrong with it, so I got a large bill and no better off with the car. A friend looked at it with a vagcom and there are all sorts of errors, he said start changing sensors. When the car goes into limp, I get front assist not available and start stop not available. I have had the car to a turbo specialist and he said the turbo is fine. The battery has been changed, the maf sensor has also been changed. I have learned to live with it but it is becoming a problem as when I go to garages to see if they can help they say they can't help. I have gone to a skoda dealership and they showed interest until I showed them a printout of the fault codes. So any help on here would be useful as apart from contacting Skoda UK I don't know what to do. I'll add that sometimes I can stop it from going into limp by changing down a gear, the car jerks a bit and there is a loss of power but I can usually keep it out of limp mode apart from today where it went into limp, I turned it of and back on but the car wouldn't start. Eventually after half an hour I got it going but only in limp. Any ideas???? Thanks
