  1. Following a complaint to the company that leased me the car, I was offered to reject it, or take a derisory compensation payment. (Less than 6 months of the extra money it is currently costing me) I declined both offers. This has now been passed onto the Financial Ombudsman for them to make a ruling.
  2. On the App, go to your profile and paid services. You might find you already have this feature. I was also offered this a while back.
  3. I've requested a payment from them to cover the difference in cost which I've tracked using their app. They have 14 days before I take it to court.
  4. I have an ongoing ticket open with Skoda support. Meanwhile, by inputting the difference in electricity unit cost, you can use their own app to highlight how much extra it is to charge. I will be invoicing them in due course.
  5. Just had an update. This is an extract. We acknowledge your concerns and fully understand the importance of being able to schedule charging times—especially when it comes to maximizing the benefits of overnight electricity rates. This functionality is indeed a key feature for plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle users, and we regret that it was not available at the time of delivery despite being mentioned in promotional materials and the user manual. Please be assured that our development team is actively working to finalize and deploy this crucial feature. It is expected to be included in one of the upcoming software releases. We will keep you updated on the progress and provide installation details as soon as the update becomes available for your vehicle.
  6. To keep a record of the additional money it has cost me to charge, I'm using the 'fuel & charging costs' section of the app. I will be using this to send them an invoice in the near future.
  7. Sneaky. Good job I took a screen shot before they removed it.
  8. We are being told different things then. 1. Send an invoice to your local dealer with the additional costs, adding that if it isn't paid within 14 days you will go to the small claims court. Ask them to install/upgrade your home charger for free, to one that can utilise timer charging. Which? Legal, may also be able to assist. The clincher for me is the manual. It has a picture of what the charging display should actually look like.
  9. "Your vehicle currently doesn't have a departure planner option. The development team is finalizing the functionality, and it should be deployed soon in one of the next releases" I have informed Skoda that I will be invoicing them for the additional cost of charging at normal rates v night time rates. As the vehicle has been delivered not as described, this is not a cost that I should have to pay for. The difference is 21p/KWh. Assuming 2miles/KWh, each 1,000 miles on electric is an additional £105. I'm prepared to go to small claims court if necessary!
