I broke down on the M40 earlier this week. The technician had no idea what was wrong with it and I got towed home to a garage. When on the motorway, the car initially jolted, like someone had pressed the brake for two seconds, and then a mile further on, it did it again, but this time for longer. I slowed right down due to this and quickly pulled in to the hard shoulder. The local garage (great reputation) ran the diagnostics on it and couldn't find anything. I have since driven it home fine. So, I'm in limbo. The garage doesn't know. Skoda dealership refuses to look at it as they only "run the same tests", and the wife wont drive it or have the kids in it (understandably). Anyone had similar issues? 2017, Diesel, 50k miles on the clock. (I know nothing about cars)
