Unlock rear climatronic controls
Thanks, Mike. I checked the (I think) 5amp switch fuse and tested ok. I'm pretty convinced the system is locked and requires VCDS to reset/unlock. I have an iCarsoft scanner that doesn't show any codes related to climate, I'll have a look and see if there is anything under coding.....if not it's a visit to a dealer

Thanks for the reply, Mike. Both buttons in the rear don't appear to work. When pushed neither rear button illuminates. I've checked both fuses for rear and they seem fine. The two buttons for the front work and both front seats heat up. Apparently it is possible to "lock" the rear controls to prevent children inadvertently switching them on. When I press the AC and Front Vent buttons on the climatronic to access the menu the display on the RNS510 screen shows "Rear" with a locked padlock symbol above it- Unlock rear climatronic controls
- Rear heated seats question.
Hi folks. I own a 2014 Superb L&K with, I'm assuming, has rear heated seats fitted: the buttons are there in the rear but do not light up and seats do not heat. Both modules were replaced for the front seats and both of these work. My questions are do the rear seats have a seperate module? If so, any ideas where its located? I've checked both the 5amp and 20amp fuses for rear seats, both seem ok. Does anyone know the location of the relay? Any other ideas why no illumination on buttons? Thanks in advance Bill- Firmware 6276 source
Once again, many thanks for your help. System back up and running and Map SD ordered. Much appreciated.- Firmware 6276 source
Hi, would anyone have an idea where I could source a reliable copy of 6276 firmware to fix boot loop issue? I've seen some advertised on Ebay but not sure if these are genuine. Do I need to source map software also if I manage to flash firmware? If so any ideas where? Thanks in advance.- RNS510 aftermarket query

Thanks for the quick reply. The car is currently with seller doing final prep so unfortunately no access to unit at the minute. I do however have the Vin: TMBBE73T3E9054856 I will haggle with seller to replace with the unit you recommend.....could be interesting 🙂 Once again, many thanks. P.S. from memory whilst the unit was running i think the screen showed HW07. SW 6270, however, i could be wrong.- RNS510 aftermarket query
Hi, apologies as I know this topic has been done to death. I've just bought a 2014 Superb L&K 2.0 TDI with the common RNS510 boot loop error. Seller has agreed to replace unit with aftermarket android auto/apple carplay setup. I managed to reboot original unit yesterday after using SWL_fix.....I think, otherwise it was a coincidence, and noticed the unit seems tied to a lot of other systems. MFD, park assist etc. It reverted to boot loop on next staring the vehicle. My questions. What is the best aftermarket unit to negate loss of other functions? How can I tell if the TV module is installed? Finally, given that the unit sprung back to life, albeit temporarily, do you think the original unit is salvageable? Many thanks in advance. - Unlock rear climatronic controls
