  1. Anyone fitted the generic (not Skoda branded) aftermarket locking kits, which is the 4x actuator, loom and module, to a Fabia Mk1? Just trying to find a suitable location for the front actuators to go, and notice on the aftermarket ones that they are mounted at 45º with a rod running to the door card "button" with a specially made angled bracket to grip the rod to trigger it without bending it. On the generic aftermarket ones though, you're left to your own devices to figure a location out, but space behind the door card is tight in almost every location. Attached the pic I found here of the Skoda kit, and the angled bracket. Wondering if anyone has fitted the non branded kit and can advise on fitment location for the actuator or how they did it? Rear doors are already done and a lot simpler - running directly underneath the existing pull rods in the horizontal direction. This is just for the front doors. Or, can you buy these little angled brackets and longer rods separately anywhere, to suit an aftermarket non-brand kit? Anyone done this and can advise? Cheers
  2. Could do… but… What after that? Which bit of the actuator is the issue? Was hoping to avoid seat removal really!
  3. Hi, Desperately need some help here! I have a Fabia MK1 5dr (no central locking, no leccy windows). The passenger front door midway through changing the actuator has closed and now won’t open. The outside door handle pulls the cable, the door inner pull cable for the inner handle is pulling the arm on the actuator, but it’s just stuck shut and feels jammed. I’m observing this down the door gap where the window normally is. It was fitted properly so unsure why it won’t now open, did the previous side a minute ago no issues. The door glass is removed. All the inside door card is off and I can remove the metal panel mostly as it’s only been put back in loosely, but it’s hard with the seat in place. The door actuator is fixed in with the two M8 spline screws so can’t remove that as no access even with rear door open. Any tips to get this door open?
