Hi used the forum since owning my 2016 Octavia VRS estate and it's been a great resource but I have been lurking in the background up til now.... Car has been solid for 8 years and 95k miles, does through MOT and service at local indy last week. Driving to the office yesterday noticed a sound like a flat from I thought passenger side wheel but checked and all fine. Driving back got much worse and quite a load clunking at any speed but much less noticeable under acceleration, braking or reversing. Jacked up on Drivers side, because despite sounding like coming from opposite side, tyre wear is uneven and I noticed a small bulge in the sidewall.. There's a crack in some component that I'm struggling to identify, I think it's part number 3 on this link but can't find the reference to what it is or what needs replacing along with it. https://skodapartsdirect.co.uk/product/skoda-octavia-2013-2020-front-strut-mounts-bearings/ Any advice appreciated, still need to get under the passenger side to have a look but probably won't get a chance til tomorrow, I'm assuming this is the cause of the noise, makes sense to me that it's suspension related given it's acceleration/load related and steering angle makes no odds although it doesnt look like a brand new crack to me?. Thanks Ben
