  1. Fabia vrs 2014 1.4 TSI petrol Need help re sensor identification. There is one to the left connected to an air pipe near the brake booster and one on the right, connected to the inlet manifold near the air filter box. Which is the MAP sensor and what is the other one for? TIA
  2. Thanks I'll get the garage Rob services the car to pull the plus and yes only ever E5
  3. Many thanks I'll get them inspected, or I assume enough for me to do assuming I buy the correct spark plug tool.... only ever taken them out of a carb engine 😂😂
  4. Hi Yes miscode logged on ECU. Auto electrician did some live testing and assured me spark plugs (changed 20k miles ago) and coil packs ok. Now got a P0106 Intake manifold 'absolute' code and loud intake sound bit like air con on full so think garage have created an air leak whilst putting air intake back on car 🥴🥴
  5. Hope someone can help as running out of options. Have a sporadic misfire and engine light code, mostly on motorway, misfire is not severe and can accelerate through it. Autoexposure electrician says all electrics are good and everything operating within normal parameters so that rules out plugs, coil packs, sensors. Had garage take of inlet manifold (pain in ass job!) and there was only minimal sooting and injectors clean so that's not the issue. Have put fuel cleaner through system (Sea Foam SF16) twice and no change. They said it's either ECU playing up (new ECU😢) or leak somewhere and have therefore suggested I start with getting a smoke test done which won't be cheap. Any advice appreciated
