  1. Cheers mate. Did you clone it yourself with the VVDI tool?
  2. Hi team, Recently bought a 2019 Skoda Superb with KESSY I believe. Only issue is I got one key. I enquired to my local dealership to get a second key and got quotes of around $1.6k which is insane. I am looking at alternative methods and wondering if anyone has successfully done it with the same key as mine. I am just wondering to clone the keyfob as a backup, not really worried about the cut blade that sits inside the key tbh. I am thinking of buying a VVDI tool and cloning the key, this would be significantly cheaper. Has anyone done with the same key, or have any alternative suggestions? I believe the Passat B8 also has the same key. Apparently you also can't reprogram a key that has been used before, if this is the case then getting one second hand won't work? Cheers
  3. Could you keep the stock valved backboxes in and add an after market pipe like JR? I am assuming you aren't hearing a difference because there isn't actually noise coming through the backboxes because of the restrictions in the stock exhausts.
  4. In my country you aren't actually allowed manually controlled valved exhausts, since the Golf R has it wired in and automatically opens up at certain RPMs (or drive mode?), it would allow it to be road legal. That is why I am thinking to add a similar pipe like yours and add in the box from a Golf or similar, so I still get the benefit of closed valve at low speeds
  5. That sounds a lot better than stock, nice. I might go this route and then add a valved muffler to close it around the neighbours and early morning cold starts. Did you keep the stock muffler? I see the chrome bottom fake exhaust on the bumper is still there
  6. Do you think it would be a hassle to install on mine since it doesn't have the valved exhaust from the sounds of it?
  7. Hi team, Hoping this awesome forum can help me out. I have joined the Skoda crew and picked up a 2019 MY19 Skoda Superb Sportline. It is 162kw and front wheel drive, I believe sporting the Golf GTI engine. I can't seem to find if the exhaust on it is valved however, seems some models have it and some don't. From the sounds of things I don't think it is it but wanted to confirm! I have added a photo of under the car if that helps. Also, what are my options for exhausts, if not valved I wouldn't mind adding a valved back box in to give some noise because atm it's way to quite! Maybe need to cut out the rear bumper to fit it? I'm not a fan of the fake chrome exhausts in all honesty would probably like to fit a real exhaust. Any suggestions welcomed Cheers
