Hi, I have a 59 plate skoda fabia mk2 1.2 htp. Recently it has started having an issue where there is a complete loss of acceleration with the EPC light coming on. There are no error codes in the system and the engine management light does not come on. The loss of acceleration can be fixed by depressing the clutch and letting it out. Sometimes this means the car runs fine for several minutes other times it is several seconds before it refuses to accelerate. So far I have tried changing the spark plugs, cleaning the throttle body and unplugging the clutch pedal switch all seem to make no difference. Any other ideas? Or similar experiences?
