  1. Hi all, Skoda Octavia 2012 1.4 90 Petrol TSI (in Australia if that makes any difference to models/versions) It will now not start. Previously it began taking an extra couple of seconds holding the key on before it started, that was a new thing for about 2 months (prior to that it was perfect). The battery is fine, I can use the key to unlock central locking, key into ignition, engine begins to turn over but doesn't actually get the kick it needs to start running itself. (for want of more technical description). Can hold it for 10 seconds and still nothing. A local mechanic has checked it out, it is getting spark, fuel is being pumped. He tested every fuse with his multimeter and they appear okay. He has suggested chasing up an auto electrician to investigate the following coming up on his scan tool: B114812 - Terminal 15 - Short Circuit to B+ B1147F1 - Ignition Starter Switch - Terminal S - Open Circuit/Short Circuit to Ground If anyone has any knowledge if these issues would cause the car to not start? And/or what should I be looking at to fix? I love my car and just want it to start again :( Thanks
