    no noise when pressing accelerator when in neutral and car not moving, noise comes when car is in motion and pressing acceleration pedal

    Hi all, new driver here. Skoda Fabia 1.2tsi 115k miles on the clock, unsure of gearbox service history as the car came with no service history sadly. on acceleration no matter which gear car is making a "whirring noise", this only makes the noise when foot is pressing down the accelerator. Car was serviced and garage suspected faulty diff bearing Does anyone have any experience on dealing with this repair or anything similar happening?
