  1. I did indeed thank you. Sorry I didn't update until now. Turns out it was indeed the end of a syphon tool. Only thing for it was a pair of massive pliers.
  2. It seems to be a syphon tool that you bob up and down in "liquid" and it has a one way valve which the spring is part of. As the flow of liquid gets going through then it'll keep going until empty. Not the tool I'd be using to syphon petrol anyways.
  3. I think I've cracked it buddy. Bastards must have tried emptying the tank before it came to me. I thought it was generous giving me half a tank in it.
  4. Got the endoscope in there. Can't upload the video as too large but this is inside the copper pipe 🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. So, I've just got my Octavia on Friday, 1.4 petrol tsi engine. Twice I've tried to fuel it and back pressure stopping the pump. Reading online I see this is a common issue but looking down my pipe I see a copper pipe there with a narrower end. I don't want to get in there and start pulling at it until someone can tell me whether it is meant to be there or not. My mind is telling me no. Hopefully someone can help 🤞
