  1. Hi, & thanks for the feedback. Interestingly, I kept the old sensor & re inserted & the starting issue has disappeared. To confirm I tried the new sensor again & the starting issues returned. I've another sensor on order (different brand) to try. I'll let you know the outcome !
  2. Hi, I've recently changed the cam sensor after the car started to exhibit an intermittent drop in rpm on idle & subsequently raised a can sensor fault code. Since changing the sensor the code hasn't re appeared, however it now requires a few more cranks to start the engine. After reading a few articles I'm looking for clarification regarding the need to 'recalibrate' the ECU. Does anyone know if this is required, I have seen a suggestion it might be required, but nothing definitive :-(
