Hi all, Hoping someone can help or offer advice. I’ve run into an issue with my Skoda superb estate 2015-. The boot won't unlock when I press the button on the key fob. I can hear the motor activating, so it's definitely trying-but the latch just doesn’t release. I followed the manual and tried using the emergency release method with a screwdriver, but unfortunately, the small plastic part involved in that process has snapped-it was extremely brittle. Now I’m a bit stuck with the boot still closed and no way to open it from inside or outside. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there another way to release the boot manually, or will I need to access it by removing interior panels from the inside somehow? Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I book it in for a costly garage visit. Thanks in advance
