  1. so after some careful reading i went and looked in my door pillar thing to realise some wires were snapped put back together works fine now!!!! always check ur wires in the door! now left is to get this random unlock and locking to stop
  2. hey im just looking for some information and if anyone can help me, my drivers door didn't lock unlock so I replaced the lock mechanism it worked, perfect!! rear door didn't work bought a new locking mechanism everything works bar lock/unlock. on this side the window everything works, I have tried the mechanism in the other passenger door it works so that rules out the mechanism and puts it down to the wire loom? if I'm correct. when I put a multimeter on the door wires etc sometimes it can fluctuate then stays at 12.3ish I will push the lock/unlock button and it'll drop to 10v and then go back up and stay at 12vish, is this correct? its frustrating me as its all looks okay and works? I've checked the loom and i cannot see anything out of the ordinary inside the door or the black bit in the door crack, I'm not sure if i have posted this in the right place im sorry if not!
  3. Yeah all cleaned out then I ran/drove it for a mile no light so fingers crossed I didn’t do any damage to the engine I appreciate everyone’s help and sure will be back if the car works fine! Thanks all!
  4. Hi Alasdair yes I had a look all seems okay! It was a very hard type of plastic I think they just knocked the lot down. If it was there was traces of black gasket sealant maybe? But couldn’t see no more orange stuff! I’m going to put another turbo on tommorow see how it runs fingers crossed 🤞 it all runs. I like the car and don’t wanna scrap it.

  12. Ahhh sorry I threw them. I’m pretty sure like paws has said someone has changed it and snapped some down the hole easily done. I suppose the oil pressure runs at 10-15 psi when idle and 50psi when at 3k revs
  13. Of course why didn’t I think of that! It looks brand new aswell. 😅 it’s all clean now and fresh everything!
  14. Surprisingly they are hard to come by where I live so I’m going to have to travel if i want to get a new engine/turbo it’s runs now without a turbo so I’m not to sure. Would a blocked oil strainer cause it to have a red oil flashing light I’ve attached a picture of the orange bits
  15. I ran it till home. When I done the strainer etc new oil etc on start up it’s quiet and runs okay? Would an oil pressure test tell me anything? Would you no? On looking in the rocket cover it’s does pump a little oil up but I’m not sure how much oil is meant To pressure up there?
