  1. Thank you for the reply! Yes I'm thinking that's my next move when the Oil pressure switch is changed if that doesn't rectify the problem. I'm unsure too but thankfully the gearbox is still holding up considering there is 210k on the clock and I hope it will last another while yet 🙈
  2. Hello! I'm new to this forum so hello! I've had my 2015 Skoda Octavia 1.6 DSG the last year, since I've had the car a flashing glow plug light comes on if the go above certain revs and it isn't up to temperature. When I turn the car off and back on it goes. The EML came on and the error was heater plug 1. Before I got the heater plug changed, starting the car was rough in the morning, I had to leave it a few mins until it warmed up and then it drove fine. The same thing happened last week except it was heater plug 2, changed that but the car is still rough starting in the morning. When the glow plug is flashing the error that's coming up is oil pressure switch but there is no other signs, the oil level is fine. Someone mentioned to me that it might be the clutch, brought it to a gear box specialist who drove it and said it was perfect. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to change the oil pressure sensor anyway but the mechanic (brother in law) doesn't think this will fix the issue. I've been so worried about it the last few days because I love the car and raging things have started to go wrong so quickly. I know DSG 7 speed clutch doesn't have great reputations but it drives absolutely perfect other than when I start the car first thing in the morning. I'm at a complete loss to what it could be. Sorry for the long post
