Considering mapping my octavia scout. Looking for opinions on whether to or not and anything to look out for. Is it necessary to have a DSG map to make the most of the engine map? I'm considering it for a mix of the improved fuel economy as well as more power/torque for general driving and occasional towing.

Hi all, just upgraded to a 2018 Octavia Scout 2.0 TDI DSG 4x4 from a manual 2013 Yeti 2.0 TDI 4x4, which was a fantastic car that I put 55k miles on in 4/5 years. Looking forward to being part of the community and no doubt benefitting from advice here down the line (who knows, maybe I'll eventually be able to give some of my own) Cheers!
