Hello Everyone, My significant others 2014 Fabia developed a faulty with the window switch on the driver side today, it looks like the wiring just adjacent to the connection from the door to the car is damaged and at least three wires severed. From looking at this forum and some googling this sounds like a well known problem. I'm reasonably confident we can repair ourselves (reminds me of my old Clio) but it has been a while, can anyone who's done this work before confirm the current rating in need for the wiring I'm going to have to splice in after I remove the damage? Hoping I don't open a can of worms and find even more damaged wiring when I go poking.
