I charged the battery and with the ignition on turned the steering wheel to left and right fully, started the engine and EPC and steering lights went out and power steering worked fine, happy days. Took a drive all good in until I hit a bigish bump power steering stopped, light came on and EPC light again. I stopped did what I did before all good again, no lights and all fine? Is this normal after hitting a large bump/whole in the road or is there an electrical fault I need to find? All help appreciated, thanks.

I have a 2015 citigo with power steering and ABS/EPS lights on the dash, the power steering has stopped working!. I have read that a flat battery can cause a power steering issue, is this correct? Because just before it stopped working I had a lower battery massage on the dash. If so how can I redress the issue, any help greatly appreciated, thanks.
