I would say that A is better. If you look at images of the wrc octavia you can see the line that goes thru the emblem on the trunk because the uper and lower parts are one, you can see the same line on A, while the ebay one could just be the wing part witch would make it less durable and also less acurate to the wrc octavia

I solved this. The sound is normal im just paranoid

I recently replaced the water pump in my 1.8t engine. After a lot of turning the engine by hand and not feeling or hearing anything out of the usual I started it up and heard this fast pace ticking noise. I am awere that ther is a ticking sound thats normal but I can hear another sound aswell. The sound may very well be normal and im just extra awere of things out of place becaus I dont want to hear an orchestra of expensive noices. I would appreciate if anyone could share a video of thier 1.8t idleing as a comparison or even tell me outright if the sound is normal. IMG_7118.mp4

From experience the thick red white wires should be positive(12v) and the thick brown ground. You can use a multimeter to check the voltage aswell as figure out witch is switched by mesuring the voltage when the ignition is on/off. Note that the ground wire can be the one that is switched

My rusty diamond is a 2002 Octavia rs. I want to se what others have done to their cars as inspiration. I do everything on my car myself because im a broke college student:( with limited resourses I need knowledge to compensate. I want to learn from this community and hopefully be able help aswell
