  1. Wow! Thanks for that, thamestrader. they have some great stuff! Looks like it is going to cost me a few pounds. Rear camera, parking sensors on the front. Wonder if they do "Walk away auto lock" sensors?
  2. I have to admit, I can never understand why people think it is fine to walk behind a reversing vehicle (specifically as vision is vastly reduced) and believe they are perfectly safe., yet they won't walk in front of you - even if you are creeping along, and vision is good.🤷‍♂️
  3. Hi All, I have a Skoda Karoq 2.0 SE Drive TDI SCR (Whatever SCR means!) 73 plate. Unfortunately, there is no reversing camera on it. What i would like advice on is; can I get one fitted and is it doable myself - or best through a dealer? The reason I want (or actually need, really) one is because I have three dogs and, when reversing onto the drive, they always keep away from any vehicles - but it's just nice to be able to check that they haven't suddenly had a brainstorm and decided to walk behind the car. Two of my previous vehicles had a reversing camera built in, and I guess I am missing it more now. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  4. Hi

Hi all, I recently purchased a 73 plate Skoda Karoq (hence the name) - but got carried away and a) Started a thread, then b) replied in another thread. Apologies if I am getting ahead of myself! Embarrassingly, not sure what a '73' plate means. Is that an early 23 or a late 23? I just like the car.
  5. Totally agree, that's what the salesman said to me when I bought mine a couple of weeks ago. I also geta free MOT - as it still within the first three years (It is three years isn't it?)
  6. Thanks for the tips folks, I'll take all on board and hopefully get things sorted. I must admit, I never thought of saying "Navigate to....". Will also remember to start a specific topic thread, rather than my drivelling on different subjects. I must admit, i still have an Atlas as a back up. My theory being, a satnav will tell you where you are going and where you are - but where in relation to the rest of the country? (Mostly when I have been out in the wilds of Exmoor or such places).
  7. Hmmm...I searched....and searched🤷‍♂️ Okay, My skoda Karoq satnav - voice command/search. It was set to United Kingdom already and prompt asked for address, starting with a City. Picked Birmingham. Reply was somewhere else in Germany beginning with 'B'. What??? Asked the satnav to search country (which is an option the prompt suggests), and said "United Kingdom" - in several different ways and accents. Nope! All I got was either "sorry" or "Pardon?" Tried "England", "Great Britain", "Britain" and then "Germany". Nope. Went back to United Kingdom (manually) "London". Nope. It must be something blatantly obvious that I am missing, but for the life of me.......................😤
  8. Hi All, Just joined after having purchased a 73 plate Skoda Karoq a couple of weeks ago. There's loads of things I want to ask - but I am sure most of them will be available somewhere on the site! To be honest, I am getting rather frustrated with certain things. is it me?
