Hello, First, I want to say hi as it's my first time posting on this forum which helped a lot through my problems that I had in the past with my octavia 2004 (Box). Lately, I had to replace the clutch pump that is near the gearbox after I had a clutch failure. The problem was fixed but days after I started noticing a weird sound when releasing clutch or gas pedal in 1st-2nd or sometimes 3rd gear. When I release the clutch—especially in 2nd gear after accelerating—I hear a strong metallic thump or clunk, like something suddenly hits or knocks under the car. It's a single, sharp 'TAAG!' sound, almost like two metal parts slamming together. The sound is triggered when the clutch pedal hits the bitting point. After that even if you press and re-release it goes, until you change gear back ( I am not sure when it resets) I changed the drive shafts and I am still facing the issue. While it's doesn't affect anything, the sound annoys me to hear it. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
