Hi, my (2018, SEL Exec. Estate) car has developed some annoying noises that I am struggling to resolve and I'm looking for some ideas for things to try next. Front end metallic rattle over bumps. Started after new pads and discs were fitted by me last year, as I have done many times over the years on other cars. I have tried removing and regreasing the pads and bending out the clips as far as I can, which did nothing - it's strange that the front calipers have no removable anti rattle clip like the rears... I've had the car in with a mechanic today to look at the brakes and the front end. He couldn't find anything wrong. I used Brembo pads and discs if that matters. Loud deep thump coming from rear over bumps. Sounds like the exhaust is banging on the bottom of the car. Not sure when this started. Again, I had the mechanic look at the rear end and underside and he couldn't find anything wrong. I have also checked the spare wheel / jack for tightness. If anyone has experience of either, or can think of something else I can try to stop this annoyance I'd be very grateful to hear.
