Hi All, The battery in my Skoda Superb 2018 recently failed I have replaced it with a A7 Varta Silver Dynamic AGM 096 Start Stop Car Battery 12V 70Ah (570901076) As far as I understand I need to do a battery recode due to the change in both type and capacity. I have an OBDeleven on order. I can see there are 1 click apps for this, these require credits. But from what I can see online I can just do this manually entering the following info: VA0 for manufacturer 70 AH Fleece (for AGM) old battery was a 69 AH EFB 2025080819 ( I replaced about 7pm on Friday the 8th) I saw something that mentioned you can just enter date as a serial number. Just curious if anyone has done this? I have only used the car a couple of times since the battery was replaced and it seems fine. It did have a stop start warning that night, but the next day it had cleared. Still figure I should do the job properly. Any advice appreciated, thanks.
