Hello Guys, Just got a new for me Octavia mk4 combi and it has some weird anomalies when it's in 3rd and 4th, Sometimes it needs a little extra push to get it in gear otherwise it throws it out of speed. Friends suggested that a transmission oil change could fix the issue but I'm a bit lost as to what type to get. But I'm at a loss, I heard mixed results with aftermarket OEM oils (Shell, Castol, Liqui moly) and not sure how to proceed. And I've yet to found any concrete info as of how much oil should be put in. Also there is a huge price difference between the OEM and the factory oil which makes me a bit hesitant about the whole replacement. And what is everyone's experience with the transmission after an oil change? Thank you in advance!
