Hello everyone, I have recently ordered a new Škoda Kodiaq 2025 in Moldova. Our local dealer told me that Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and the Travel Assist package are currently not available for our market from the factory. They also said that Škoda Moldova has contacted the importer/Škoda Auto to ask if these functions could be enabled later, and they expect an answer in October. The sales consultant is not sure whether my car will come with the necessary hardware (radar sensor and front camera). The cruise control stalk is the same as the one used for ACC, so it might be just a software limitation, but this is not confirmed yet. My questions are: Has anyone had a similar case where ACC was not available in their market but was later activated by the dealer? If the hardware is present, is it possible for a dealer in my country (Moldova) to activate it in the future once Škoda approves it? If it’s not approved locally, could an official Škoda dealer in another EU country activate it for a Moldovan-market car? Any advice or similar experiences would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
