  1. Fabia in garage for MOT this morning and spoke to mechanic about said problem. Apparently this can be a problem for Skoda and v.w and will only get worse. The problem seems to be master/slave cylinder and will need replacing so sorting that out next. The only temporary fix is when the clutch pedal stays on the floor is too flick it up with your foot and proceed as normal. Probably no good if you're wearing steel toe cap boots!
  2. Thanks for that I will look at the garage floor tomorrow morning as it will have been parked up overnight and look for any dampness any where

Thanks for replying Wife's car and just driven from Wales to Devon in average thirty degrees and stop start journey down the M5,cars broken down everywhere (so thought it might be heat related) Said car stalls and no electrics at all. Went to depress clutch to do ignition process and the pedal was on the floor,poked it back up with her foot and everything working as normal. Reservoir is full. Still starting as normal however she thinks today that clutch pedal seems less resistant as it usually does.
