Afternoon all I'm attempting to install a new radio in my 2005 Fabia Estate (auto) but have hit some snags. I've already purchased the set (Pioneer SPH-10BT), the ISO harness adaptor, and a fascia to smooth everything off, but thus far, nothing fits. After removing the existing unit (Kenwood keys, it would seem), the push-to-release drawer & the side trims, I'm left with a cavity that's approx 1-2mm too narrow to accomodate the new cage for the radio. Also, the aftermarket fascia has some clips on the right hand side that are completely different to those on the left, for which there are no accomodating holes on the right (see image), but at the moment the fascia is a moot point as even if I managed to get it to fit into the dash, the cage still won't fit into the cavity. Also, as an added embuggerence, the radio mount seems to be past of the moulded dashboard as a whole, and not something you can just unscrew & remove Has anyone else had this issue and managed to overcome it? I'll have a chat with Halfords on Monday (where I purchased the radio) for some general advice, as it looks like the only way to fit the unit is to cut away part of the mounting frame, and that's a little bit beyond my ken.
