  1. I disagree with the 'at any time' assertion.
  2. After talking to the supplying dealer, two facts emerged. There is no physical dipstick despite the manual detailing how to use it and providing pictures! To actually see the digital oil level via the infotainment the key part of the procedure was to press the Start ignition button without putting the foot on the brake. Then just navigate thru vehicle settings .. Vehicle .. oil level.
  3. Yes it was. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong!
  4. I've got a 2025 Octavia vRS estate with the 265PS engine. How do I check the oil level? The infotainment says it will be available to view when the engine is at temperature but with the engine off. If I check when the engine is off the same screen says it cannot be shown with the engine off! Frustrating! I looked for a physical dipstick but nothing was obvious. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.
