  1. Just an update on my recent post regarding the sticking clutch pedal. The Skoda dealership found the clutch master cylinder to be leaking slightly and replaced it. I had also requested they service the air conditioning and on collecting the car was presented with a bill of £797.36. I drove out of the garage and 50 yards up the road, the clutch pedal stuck down again. I drove round the block, the pedal sticking twice and back into the garage where I left it with them to sort out. I picked the car up a few days later after the clutch slave cylinder had been replaced. Presented with a bill for £1299.00 a total of £2096.37 Not at all happy at the cost, but at least glad to have the car back after nearly 4 weeks without it.
  2. Thanks for the swift reply. Car goes in on Thursday so should know then what is happening.
  3. Hi, Looking for some advice regarding a problem with the clutch pedal on my 2020 Skoda Karoq, 2 litre diesel, manual gearbox. It has only done 21000 miles from new and I tow a 1200kg caravan from time to time. This last week the clutch pedal has stuck in the down position a few times but rising about 2 inches from the floor. On lifting the pedal it rises freely and seems to work fine for a mile or two and then sticks down once again. No sign of any fluid leaks and there only appears to be one master cylinder which I always thought was for the brakes and which in any case is at the full mark. I have booked the car into the local Skoda dealer as I am 75 years old and sadly now unable to do my own repairs, although I have replaced master and slave cylinders on other makes in the past. I would be interested to hear if this is a known problem with the Karoq and if anyone has had similar, the solution and the likely cost of repair.

Hello, just a quick introduction. My name is Dacob and my car is a 2020 Skoda Karoq 2 litre diesel. I have had the car since new, use it daily and also tow my 1200kg Swift caravan with it. I have been very happy with the car and its performance and find sufficient power and stability when towing.
