  1. Meanwhile, can anyone suggest a service in Edinburgh to check / fix suspension?
  2. It's 205/55/16 Yokohama, almost new and tbh I don't think it makes sense to go down to 15, but may be change the tires. That's what I've been thinking about :) I guess previous owner saved some money buying Yoko :) I was thinking about this Nokian Btw, any thoughts on the studded tires for winter (I had awesome experience with them everywhere in Central / Northern Europe) - especially if I'm up for trips to Highlands few times per winter?
  3. Hey, I've recently got Octavia Estate 1.0 TSI SE DSG 2018 with somewhat about 60k miles. The car is in surprisingly good condition for it's age and even 999cc engine isn't that bad. So, I still enjoy the car. The only thing is: Edinburgh (where I happen to live) is the best city in the world when it doesn't come to the roads. They keep all the communications underground (so we get astonishing streets and views without wires) but it also means every single plumber and electrician digs their own path every time they need to repair something. Consequently, the roads in Edinburgh (not in Scotland) are a total and absolute disaster. Imagine you can not drive a hundred feet without getting in a some kind of a pothole - it may be bad or not too bad, but it is a pothole. I'm sure I'm not the first person ever who doesn't want to pay for the repairs every year, so I'm quite curios on what do people do with that? Obviously, all the ideas of smaller rims / higher tires; reinforced springs / shocks / bushes / stabilizer links are here, but: any other creative ideas / experience? may be suggestions on the cost effective solutions + durability? Thank you!
