Apparently paperwork issue between Skoda and the dealer(s?) and how the Skoda give them the EV grant (I’d think simple enough but these things never are). Sounds like the Gov approach, launch and promote something without the mechanisms in place to facilitate. Feel for the salesperson, pretty frustrating. No grief from me, just looking forward to getting the new car, that’s prepped and ready. No one else encountering this?

Hi Kenny, The deal included the £1,500 at time of order, as Skoda were guaranteeing it prior the UK Gov pulling their finger out.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I've had a great experience with a Kodiaq for 4 years, and have always recommended to others. I recently placed an order for an Elroq, and was hoping to pick up last week having been told it had arrived at the dealership, only to be informed that Skoda had "just announced some information regarding the EV grant...and unfortunately, we are having to hold off on your handover...Skoda not allowing us to hand these cars over". I'm interested if anyone else is experiencing a delay in handover of their EV? It's a shame for the sales person who has been fantastic through the whole process, who now likely has multiple customers chasing him with no ability to provide an update.
