Fabia Mk4 phone mount - is there such a thing?
To answer some recent comments: I've just removed the vent mount which has been in place for about 10 days, there are no signs of damage to the vent or its surround. Also, the app my passenger needs to use isn't Android Auto friendly (or vice versa) but she does need to tap the screen frequently when using it; the vent mount works perfectly.

Fabia Mk4 phone mount - is there such a thing?
As mentioned previously, Brodit manufacture a phone mount specifically for the Fabia 4 however after I have found, fitted and used a vent mount that works well enough for our purpose i.e. to use a tripmeter app on a phone, not for making or taking calls. It's by Holdersafe and is currently priced at £13.89 from Amazon.

Fabia Mk4 phone mount - is there such a thing?
I've often found the fins in air vent droop due to the weight of the phone but have unearthed an old vent mount from the back of a drawer so will try it, hopefully with a better result.

Fabia Mk4 phone mount - is there such a thing?
Thanks Derek. I've used Brodit mounts in previous cars and found them very good though rather pricey once the cost of the clip, phone mount and any accessories are totted up. However, so far that's the only Fabia 4 specific one I've found and it fits the bill perfectly as it's my passenger who will need access to the phone on the move and it places it directly in front of her. Incidentally, the phone holder I would need is this one and it is screwed in place on the clip: https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/accessories/brodit/brodit-accessories/passive-holder-with-tilt-swivel/1547

Fabia Mk4 phone mount - is there such a thing?
I've been searching, without luck so far, for a phone mount specifically for a Mk4 Fabia, is there such a thing? I don't want a screen mount or anything that sticks to the dashboard but one that is designed specifically to fit the Mk4. Suggestions welcome.

Hello all - first Skoda arriving soon so first post.
I've been a VAG driver for many decades but never a Skoda so in a late attempt to right that wrong (I'm 75) I have a Fabia Monte Carlo 1.5 arriving next Saturday. No doubt I'll have plenty of questions and comments which I'll post in the appropriate section especially as I've never driven the car nor even seen one; how's that for confidence in a marque?!
