  1. Update on this one: I recently purchased a new USB port to replace the original as I hoped that would fix the issue. It didn't. (The part number is 5Q0035726M in case anyone is looking for it) I have noticed that if I reboot the infotainment system after the car has been running the infotainment occasionally works and AndroidAuto/CarPLay kicks in. I'm wondering it's a battery issue?
  2. I mentioned in my original post that we had tried 2 different data cables. They were bought new and were tested as working on other devices.
  3. It seems to be charging the phones so I didn't think that would be the issue?
  4. Hey all! Just wondering if anyone has any solutions or experience with this one. When we connect our phones via USB cable the infotainment doesn't register any connection and Android Auto/CarPlay doesn't start up on the screen. It does however charge the phone. I've tried various things to remedy, Long press on power button to reboot infotainment, resetting infotainment to factory settings, deleting cache/stored data from android auto on our phones, new USB data cable (2 in fact). I've even pulled the fittings away to check fuses and clean USB port and check the cables for issues but none of this seems to have helped. We had also purchased a bluetooth dongle to connect wirelessly which worked once or twice as soon as the key was in the ignition but is no longer connecting to the infotainment unit I did update the firmware as there was crackling on the audio when my partners iPhone was connected but I dont think that's the issue? It worked fine for months after the update. Anyone got any pointers or anything I might've missed? (Currently on MEN2_EU_SKGPX_P916OL) Appreciate anyones advice. It is driving me mental.
